Question: What happens to the other cells when there is cancer in the body?

sometimes the other cells wont even know there is cancer.if you have breast cancer, cells in your foot wont know. But cells that are close do know and they try and attack the cancer and kill it, these are called immune cells. But sometimes they get turned off by the cancer cells and instead of attacking they help it by protecting the cancer.
