• Question: Where will the electric car be in 2050

      In my opinion electric cars are going to get more and more popular in the future. With climate change we’re going to have to start reducing the harmful emissions we produce, and electric cars will be a really important part of this change. It also looks like we’ll see more driverless cars too!

      It will be in your drive/garage. I would be surprised if a quarter of the population, at least in the UK, didnt have some sort of electric car (hybrid, or full). I’ve wanted an electric car since i first heard about them when i was at school. I would imagine by 2050 we will have figured out a way of making much better batteries to store the electricity. Battery technology is the main limiting factor in how far electric cars can drive on one charge and how quickly the charge as well. Tesla will probably solve this soon and make Elon Musk even more money than he has now, he’ll probably be richer than Bill Gates!
