Question: According to quantum physics, is the philosophical idea 'determinism' an accurate depiction of the universe?

It depends on your version of determinism. You probably can still argue for determinism in a quantum world because determinism is mostly about free-will so until we understand more about thoughts, quantium physics might not apply.
