• Question: are we alone in the universe

      I think due to the sheer enormity of the universe, and the huge amount of different solar systems and planets which we know pretty much nothing about, there is a probability that there are other forms of life in the universe. What those look like (I’m guessing probably not little green men), and if we will ever discover them, is another question.

      no way! There are so many different galaxies and within them so many millions of solar systems that the chances of being the only life in the universe is so small that its just more likely there is life than there isnt (google the Drake equation). I dont think it will be too long before we find life in our own universe, probably on Europa.
