• Question: Did you ever really know what field of science you would work in when you were younger? Also how long do you work on your projects?

      Not at all! I’ve always been interested in the environment, but I had no idea what kind of jobs you could do with it. The most important thing is to follow what interests you, then you’re bound to end doing something you enjoy!

      I work on lots of different projects which can last anything from a couple of days to several months or even years!

      No, I had no idea that I would be doing what I do now. Am not sure that it existed as a career in the same way. The way my dept works is that projects are funded on a year by year basis, varies.
