I hope so. Everything I do is with the aim of minimising deaths from cardiac arrest. I train people, they go into the world and live their lives, and if they ever needed to use CPR then they would know how. Hopefully my work will mean that some people will get CPR and live when they would have died before.
No. The science we do isn’t really the kind that saves lives, maybe in 20 years time someone will develop a medicine based on our research but thats very hard to do in science so who knows. Also I’ve luckily never been in a position where i have witnessed a crash or someone having a heart attack etc.
