Question: if you won would you help cancer more?

The prize is £500 and that’s not really enough money to help cancer in the area that I work. We use a lot of things (we call them reagents, they’re like ingredients) and some of them are really really expensive. For example we use a lot of different antibodies, and a single tube of less than 1ml of antibody can cost over £200!!! Maybe I could do 2 or 3 experiments with £500, but not enough to help cancer more.

Instead i can use the money to show why cancer is so exciting and cool, and then people like you who can find it interesting and become cancer researchers and do research that will help cancer!
