      To an extent. It’s all about whether you can put the whole of an extinct animals DNA into an egg cell from another animal and then put that egg cell in an animal to give birth to it. There is a programme of research going on in russai i think where they are trying to bring back the woolly mammoth. Whether this actually happens or not i dont know. The Tasmanian devil is probably the most likely animal to come back from extinction if it ever goes extinct because the Australian government has a massive programme to keep it from going extinct and has lots of DNA samples.
