One of the most important discoveries for my work has been the greenhouse effect, which is where the energy from the sun becomes trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere, affecting the way the weather works. Now, climate change has become so important that most of the laws and policies I work to have been written to try and reduce the impact humans are having on the climate

There have been loads! Because we do basic science we use lots of other work from other scientists, and from our own research, to inform what we do. So we have an idea that COX-2 interacts with another protein based on results from other studies that we have done. Hopefully when we finish other people will be able to use our results to inform their ideas/experiments
