• Question: What is the coolest thing you have found out about biology?

      Hi CandC123,
      I think the thing which has always really stuck with me is learning about how embryos form from a few cells, and how different animals can vary slightly in this process and end up looking completely different. For example, many of the genes we use to develop are also present in flies, just that we either have more (or less) of them, or we express them at different times or in different places whilst we’re developing in the womb. There’s still so many things we don’t understand but it’s always a really cool topic in biology.
