• Question: What type of elements do you use

      Hi Thirteen,
      For solutions for various experiments there are quite a few, like Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium. The one I used the most recently was Caesium, we can use it in a solution to separate DNA based on how heavy it is. I guess the one I use most often though is the silicon in our computer server chips!

      all of the elements i use are already inside solutions, and theyre in combinations with other elements. We use quite a few different acids and alkalis, like sodium chloride and hydrochloric acid are the main ones we use. We also use some very special solutions that have lots of elements including some metals like magnesium.
