      It wasn’t deliberate!

I’m interested in how people learn, what motivates that, and how the whole body is involved in learning. The best way to learn things is to practice them, especially if its a practical skill. How do you get better at playing football, or playing the guitar – do you read a book on it? No, you practice and learn.

So I wanted to take that practical approach and use it medicine. You can’t practice a lot of medical things on real people either because it’s unsafe to do it on a healthy person, or it doesn’t happen often enough. Therefore there are robots to pretend to be sick people! Robots can do some amazing things and CPR is one of the basics. I’ve seen robots that can bleed, and can feel when something hurts, and I’ve even seen robots that give birth!!!
